Christie’s auctioned a platinum case fake Patek Philippe Ref.5711P at 396,500 Swiss Francs. Compared to the original sale price of 100,000 dollars, the premium is up to 3 times. However, it is only the second rarest model. The first rarest model belongs to a watch lover, on which there’s word of “Tiffany” printed on the dial, representing that this timepiece was sold by Tiffany.
The popular Nautilus was designed by the great watch designer – Gerald Genta, who is also the designer of Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. Some watch lovers say that they look so similar, but in fact, the waterproof design is completely different. Royal Oak is fasten by the vertical screws while the Nautilus is by the horizontal screws. The Nautilus we commonly seen on the market are Ref.5711A which has been designed with stainless steel. While this timepiece is made from precious platinum.
In addition to the material, another difference is the color of dial. In order to present the nobility of the Patek Philippe Nautilus copy watch with blue dial has been engraved a diamond at 6 o’clock position of the case.
