With the influence of the Sino-US trade war, the US and Chinese stock markets have recently fluctuated greatly. It is estimated that many investors should not be in a good mood after the holiday. However, the watch auction market seems to be unaffected by the condition of stock market. A few days ago, Hong Kong Sotheby’s held the “Precious Watches” auction.

The highlight of the auction must be the pink gold case copy Patek Philippe Grand Complications, which has breaking the record of the most expensive watch in Asian auction history with a price of 23,520,000 HK dollars.
This Patek Philippe knockoff watch with silver dial was manufactured in 1971. Ref.2499 was created in 1951, and during the period from 1951 to 1985, there were totally 349 pieces, among which majority of them were with yellow gold cases, few were with platinum case or pink gold case.
