Two Vintage UK Online Replica Patek Philippe Watches That Are Hard To Buy Nowadays

UK AAA Replica Patek Philippe Ref. 1491R Calatrava In Rose Gold With Scroll Lugs

Switching gears drastically from vintage Rolex to vintage Patek Philippe, our friends over at Collectability just listed one of my all-time favorite perfect replica Patek Philippe Calatrava references, the ref. 1491. In rose gold, it is all the more special.

The 1491 was made in roughly 400 examples between the years 1940 and 1965. That’s quite the production span for a relatively low run of high quality copy watches. I suspect that while we love the unique charm of this reference’s “scroll” lugs today, back in the day, it was a bit out there for Patek’s clientele. You had to be a very unique buyer to go for this watch and that’s exactly what makes it special today. Patek Philippe watches’ design language, especially in this period, was extremely restrained and classical – think of the classic ref. 96 Calatrava or even the complicated elegance of a ref. 1518. This watch may not seem so crazy to us today but back then, it was off-the-wall insane.

If you Google or search for other examples of this reference, you will find that the vast majority have a sub-seconds register at six o’clock. This particular example is made rare as it features a central seconds hand, a feature that is confirmed as correct by the Extract from the Archives noting a caliber 27 SC, “SC” for center seconds. While it has all of this going for it, there is one “issue” with this watch – the dial was replaced by best fake Patek Philippe at service. The obvious tell are the sigma symbols on either side of the “Swiss” marking at six o’clock – a feature of some dials after 1971. Given the importance of the watches, a collector could look past this demerit and it’s important to note that the price is reflective of a service dial as well.

This UK Shop Replica Patek Philippe Timepiece Could Become the Most Expensive Watch Ever Sold

Arare Swiss replica Patek Philippe Ref.1518 in stainless steel watches have emerged on the market with a price tag exceeding $20 million. Offered through Monaco Legend Group in a private sale, the timepiece is poised to become the most expensive wristwatch ever sold outside of charity auctions.

If the 1:1 wholesale fake Patek Philippe Ref.1518 watches reache its asking price, it will surpass all previous records for privately sold watches, marking a significant moment in the world of vintage watch collecting.

The cheap super clone Patek Philippe Ref.1518 watches are widely regarded as one of the most important wristwatches ever produced. Introduced in 1941, it was the first serially manufactured perpetual calendar chronograph – an engineering feat that remains impressive even by today’s standard. Across 14 years of production, only 281 pieces were made with the vast majority in yellow or pink gold. Of these, only four examples are known to exist in stainless steel, making this variation one of the rarest and most sought-after timepieces in the world. This particular piece is the only one originally sold on a matching stainless steel bracelet, as confirmed by its Extract from the Archives dated July 29, 1946.

First auctioned in Monaco in 1989, it has since been owned by prominent collectors, including luxury textile entrepreneur Gerolamo Etro, vintage watch dealer Helmut Crott, and historian Davide Parmegiani. It was later featured in John Goldberger’s buy copy Patek Philippe Steel Watches.

The last top replica Patek Philippe 1518 watches in steel to appear at auction garnered over $11.5 million in 2016. Should this latest example achieve its listed price, it would surpass all previous records for non-charity sales, redefining the market for vintage Patek Philippe timepieces.
